Shellfish in brine and Lobster/nephrops norvegicus
Since the very beginning a key partner for IC Skagen, has been the company Chrisfish Denmark A/S. The company is a familiyrun company. Established in 1963 they have more than 50 years of experience in the fish industry. The factory in Frederikshavn is specialized in high quality shellfish in brine to competitive prices. Our other department in Frederikshavn has years of experience in purchasing, nitrogen freezing and selling quality Lobster.
Chrisfish is IFS certified with higher level, MSC and ASC certified and has their own quality department with laboratory
Handpeeled shrimps
Handpeeled shrimps are known for its very high quality. When the shrimps are caught, they are processed within 20 minutes before they are IQF frozen. The final product is produced without the use of stabilizer in the brine.
Grøndals
We work closely together with Grøndals who is specialized in high quality tinned seafood. Tasty and sustainable products are key factors in the product range from Grøndals. All tuna is caught with pole & line fishing and is certified with “Dolphin safe” and Friends of the sea”.
